SAN FRANCISCO, CA (June 28, 2022) — Following more appalling revelations at today’s January 6 Committee hearing about the extent of Donald Trump’s radical behavior during the Capitol riot, Take Back the Court Action Fund released the following statement on behalf of its executive director, Sarah Lipton-Lubet:

“The American public voted Trump out of office by an almost eight million vote margin. And yet, as we sit here watching shocking new revelations about his corruption unfold — his stolen Supreme Court is forcing a second Trump term on the American people from the bench and stripping away our most fundamental rights. A Court stolen by a violent insurrectionist-in-chief whose coup is still under investigation by Congress will never be legitimate. The only way to bring back any integrity to the institution is to expand the Court.”
