NEW NYT DEEP DIVE SHOWS MORE EVIDENCE THAT JUSTICES ARE POLITICIANS IN ROBES

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (December 15, 2023) – Today, a stunning New York Times report revealed evidence of gross politicking going on behind the scenes at the Supreme Court as the right-wing justices prepared to overturn Roe v. Wade. Take Back the Court Action Fund released the following statement on behalf of its president, Sarah Lipton-Lubet, in response:

“Today’s bombshell story lays bare how the Republican justices treat Americans’ lives, health, and freedom like pawns in a twisted game. It also raises real questions about whether the right-wing justices colluded with lawyers from Mississippi to overturn Roe and leaked their own draft opinion. At the very least, this should put to rest the notion that the right-wing justices are anything other than politicians in robes. And it should reopen investigations about the degree to which some of them are crooked politicians at that.”
